ABOUT ME

TRAMP MAKER

Beginning with a simple origami that I wanted to show as a symbol of peace, I wish it could be a realization of my deepest thoughts dealing with some terrible issues in this country such as human rights violation and adolescent fights which still happen. This origami is a dove form which is a symbol of peace.

In order not to seem as common origami, I added my characteristic ornament: peacock feather from the lengger dancer’s bun, which is one of local culture of Wonosobo

I tried to explore this origami form into many shapes until I found an "M“ shape which looked like a mask, and today I use it as my specific character in painting, everywhere.
Around 2011, I tried to pour my ideas into a greater scale on the street wall. Actually I have painted on the street wall since 2008, but at that time I haven’t got my specific characteristic, just some rough drawing by using some tints and spray cans. I just tried to beautify the empty and dirty street wall into a place with better and higher art value.
